This custom-built Colorado is a serious performance machine, packing a turbocharged 5.3L LS engine under the hood with an LSA cam and valve spring upgrade, 120-pound injectors, and a flex-fuel conversion kit. Power is handled by a Monster 4x4-built 4L60E transmission with shift kit, Yukon rear locker, front mini spool locker, and a 1600-stall converter from Sundisk. Supporting mods include a 5-inch race intercooler with dual fans, dual fuel pumps, wastegate controller, and electronic exhaust cutouts. Stopping power comes from upgraded front slotted rotors with performance pads. The truck rides on a 4-inch Rough Country lift with 295/17 Cooper mud-terrain tires mounted on black alloy wheels. Exterior features include a cowl induction ram-air hood with hood pins, fiberglass components, slid in bed cover bed liner, and rear helper springs. This Colorado has had a substantial amount of money invested into its drivetrain and performance setup. While we did not build it personally, we’re sharing all information provided by the previous owner. It’s not a perfect show truckâ€"expect normal scratches, nicks, and dings consistent with age and mileageâ€"but it’s an absolute blast to drive and makes for a fun, capable play toy with a ton of attitude.
