Great Project Car - This 2 Door 6 seat Cadillac Coupe de Ville is a Classic ready for full restoration. The 7.0L V8 engine purrs. If you're looking for a fun and rewarding restoration project, this could be it!!! Plenty to work with here. The body is in decent condition - there are a few rust holes that need to be fixed, but pretty easy to make happen. The Engine is strong, needs a tuneup to peak performance but it runs good now. We'd start with the brake system, go over the lines carefully, and replace any that need it. Then the brakes and calipers - we replaced the hardware on the left rear and the other wheels looked ok. ''Start with the Stop'' is our motto - once the brakes are restored, then on to the engine tuneup, new oil & filter, fresh gas, and transmission fluid and filter change. Then we'd progress to the body work. Get it repainted. Then freshen the interior, clean the lock and window switches, put in a retro AM / FM / Bluetooth radio and replace the speakers if needed. At that point, you'll have a nicely-restored Cadillac Coupe de Ville, ready to drive and enjoy, and to take to classic car shows with pride! CDV's of this era sell for $20,000 - $35,000 depending on the quality of restoration work. Invest in yourself and your future by restoring a fine piece of history.
